Privacy Policy
In short: Swing does not collect, store or share any personal information. Everything you create in the app stays on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
This policy explains how Swing, a kettlebell and bodyweight workout app for iOS and Android made by Andrew Lor ("we"), handles information.
Information stored on your device
The workouts you build, your edits to exercises and your training history are saved only in the app's local storage on your device. We cannot see this data, and it is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
It stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall Swing. If your device backs up app data (for example, through iCloud or Google backup), that backup is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
Workout catalogue downloads
To show the workouts in the Explore tab, Swing downloads a public catalogue file from our content delivery network, which runs on Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront). This request contains no account, name, device identifier or information about how you use the app. The only information it carries is what every internet request carries: your IP address and basic technical details such as the app's network library version.
Like most web servers, Amazon's infrastructure may keep that technical request information for a limited time for security and operations. We do not use it to identify you, build a profile, or track you across apps or websites. See the AWS Privacy Notice for details.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of data.
- No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or health data.
Children
Swing is not directed at children under 13, and because it does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect any from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA may give you rights over your personal information. Because we do not collect or hold personal information, there is nothing we can access, export or delete on your behalf. You control your in-app data directly on your device. You can still contact us with any question.
Changes to this policy
If Swing ever begins collecting information, for example to support purchases, we will update this page and its effective date before that change ships.
